Vaseline Petroleum Jelly : My review on epinions.com

One of my favorite brands is Vaseline petroleum jelly, which is a trademark of Unilever PLC. I have been using this brand as a child with my parents and now that I am married with kids of my own, I haven't found any reason to stop using it.

I love Vaseline petroleum jelly because of its effective healing capacity for cuts, wounds and many other skin abrasions (one of the reasons it was never lacking in my mum's first aid box). 

 It has also been very useful in my beauty regimen because it serves as a cheap and effective moisturizer for flaky, rough and dry parts of my skin. I use Vaseline petroleum jelly as a lip-gloss for chapped lips, as a make-up remover, and as a foundation before applying my eye-shadows. When my kids were still babies, I used it on their buttocks to prevent nappy rash and it worked like magic, not only did it prevent the rash it left their skin smooth, soft and glowing.

My dad used Vaseline petroleum jelly as a substitute for grease to unfasten door hinges and polish any rusted metal tool he had, and now my husband does the same and even uses it around his feet to put on tight fitted shoes. I really don't know any friend or relative that does not have a jar of Vaseline in her house.

Vaseline petroleum jelly has been like a faithful friend to me and like I have recommended it to lots of people, I recommend it to you too.
